While visiting Glacier
National Park in beautiful Montana, we can provide a
safe and secure site for you to camp or park your RV at Glacier Meadow RV Park
and Campground. Situated on 58 acres of private property, Glacier Meadow
RV Park and Campground is located 16 miles west of East Glacier Park, Montana,
on US Highway 2. We welcome big rigs, trailers, tents, provide horse
boarding, and specialize in large groups. We are centrally located in Montana's wilderness wonderland, with the vast National
Forest areas to the south, and stunning Glacier National Park
to the north. Glacier Meadow RV Park and Campground is open from May 15
through September 15.
Providing 25 pull through sites with electric
and water hookups, and 16 wooded sites with electricity and a central water
station, Glacier Meadow RV Park and Campground can accommodate tents to big rigs
and anything in between! Our facilities include a dump station and
portable pumper, shower house, and full laundry facilities. Other
amenities to make your stay at our campground pleasant include a large
shuffleboard floor, horseshoe pit, a full playground for the kids, and wireless
internet access. We welcome large groups and our pavilion with fireplace
is perfect for your family reunion get together!
While exploring or touring
Glacier
National Park, be mindful
that there is a maximum overall RV length limit (22-foot length, 8-foot width)
on the Going-to-the-Sun Highway
in the park. Setting up your rig in our safe and secure facility enables
you to visit the park with peace of mind. You can explore on your own or,
if you prefer to tour the park by bus, the Red Bus tours stop at Glacier Meadow
RV Park and Campground every day.
While you leave your tent or home-on-wheels
secure with us, you can set out to experience the majestic scenery of
Glacier
National Park.
Hiking, horseback trail riding, ATV riding on Skyland Road, and float trips down
the Flathead River provide the opportunity to get “up close and personal” in the
Park. Wildlife viewing and photography, fishing, viewing the mountain
goats at the famous Goat Lick (only 3 miles away), and golfing in East
Glacier
Park add to the
recreational opportunities. A must-see is an excursion on the
Going-to-the-Sun Highway—the only road that goes through the entire Glacier
National Park, crossing the Continental Divide at Logan Pass.

About Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park was established on May 11, 1910 by an act of the United States Congress. It contains almost 1,600 square miles of forest, mountains and lakes. It borders Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada and the two were designated an international peace park in 1932.

Things To Do at Glacier National Park
- Tour the magnificent Going-To-The-Sun highway (Tell me more)
Going-to-the-Sun Road is a road going through Glacier National Park in Montana. It was completed in 1932, and it is the only road that crosses the park, going over the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. A fleet of 1930s red tour buses, rebuilt in 2001 to run on propane, offer tours on the road.

Located along U.S. Highway 2, near the southern tip of Glacier
National Park, is an exposed riverbank where mountain goats and
other animals come to lick the mineral-laden cliffs. From the
parking area, a short paved path leads to an observation stand
overlooking the waters of the Middle Fork of the Flathead River.
